I bought the Upton Platform Bed. It's built from well-selected, dense ash, with a nicely sanded finish and beautifully machined joints. The deep, tight mortises and clever corner-bolt system make it extremely sturdy; I fully expect it to outlive me. The company was a pleasure to deal with; the bed shipped quickly and was very well-packaged. I look forward to buying from them again.
