“I ordered a king size Upton platform bed December 10, 2025, it arrived Jan 8, 2026. I think that’s pretty good considering it’s made to order and it was holiday time.
The bed arrived undamaged. It is very heavy (200+lbs), all pieces are solid ash wood. The clear instructions and included tools and hardware made it easy to put together with 2 people. We have left the wood unfinished for now, maybe for good.
This bed is an elegant, noiseless thing of clean lines and sturdy beauty in our very small bedroom (which we now call the bed’s room). The wood grain, subtle colors and fragrance are lovely. The wood is sanded smooth and snag-less. All the pieces fit together perfectly. The craftsmanship is top-notch. All made in the U.S.A. If I were to change anything, it would be to subtly round the sharp edges of the headboard and rails, the way the edges on the legs have been. We are very happy with this bed. It is worth every cent.
My only complaint is that I feel communication/customer service could have been more efficient. After I paid, I received a receipt from Shopify, but no communication, contact or updates on progress or expected shipment date. After sending email inquiries, I ultimately received human replies and my anxiety about possibly having paid into some internet black hole was relieved. I think future customers would appreciate a periodic check-in for a large and costly purchase such as this bed, especially if it will be a few weeks before delivery.”
