“My experience with the Carolina Leg Company was seamless and product came as promised and well built !
Only fly in the ointment was the delays in shipping due to the holiday season which is no Fault of theirs .
They do have a leg up on the competition for sure ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»πΊπΈ”
“Well made. Down side took over 3 weeks to deliver. This really messed up my build.
Orderd based on reviews stating fast shipping. Mounting plates are slightly
Warped this is from welding. Can deal with
It. Will most likely use again but will order weeks in advance!
Shop tracking gets a 0 would be a 5 if not for shipping”
“I had a great experience with this company. The shipping was incredibly fast, and the communication was clear and timely. The price point was good. The table legs are beautiful and high-quality. My only slight disappointment was that one of the legs split while being installed. Nevertheless, based on the speed, service, and overall quality, I highly recommend them”
“Dear Carolina Leg Co. Team,
Thank you for your recent email and the invitation to share my thoughts on my purchase.
I want to begin by expressing my satisfaction with the overall quality of the legs I received. They are indeed beautiful and were very well-packaged, which I greatly appreciate as it ensured they arrived in perfect condition. The prompt delivery was also a significant plus.
However, I did notice a minor concern with one of the legs. It appears that a chip or gouge may have occurred during the lathing process, which was subsequently filled with wood filler. Unfortunately, this filler does not seem to absorb the stain in the same manner as the surrounding wood, causing it to stand out quite prominently against the darker finish.
I was hoping you might be able to offer some advice or a recommendation on how this area could be blended more effectively to match the rest of the leg. I would be happy to provide photographs if that would assist you in offering a solution.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Josh Miller”
“Overall happy with the purchase, easy to order, delivery was faster than what was estimated originally, and the legs are nice and solid and worked perfectly for what I wanted them for. My only complaint is that there was slag from the welding in several spots on the mounting area of the legs, shown on one of the legs in one of the pictures attached. They were partially ground down, but it could have been done much more thouroughly. One of the spots had an exetremly sharp edge to it I had to file off. Seeing it is on the mounting plate and under the table it isn't seen, but I feel it should have been ground down and smoothed out alot better than it was for the price. I would reccomend purchasing from them, and i would buy from them again.”
“Overall very satisfied with my purchase. Two mildly unsatisfactory points were noticed. A few of the threaded inserts were pressed in at an angle resulting in awkward installation once the threaded rods were screwed in. The upturned "horns" on all four posts, which are a great design and are what attracted me to this bed frame, were severely chamfered. Not the end of the world, but not how the bed frame is being shown in it's advertising. Construction is solid, still glad I made the purchase.”
“I had Carolina leg company make some specific size A-frame legs for me. Communicating with their staff was easy and very professional. I did not speak to anybody directly. It was through their chat access on their website.
The quality of their product is exceptional.
The only issue I had was when FedEx delivered it. It was either packaged poorly or handled by FedEx poorly. The box look like it had been previously used, and the tape look like it was very minimal on the ends closing the box. Pictures are included.
I do have a brother thatβs making a kitchen table and I will recommend Carolina leg company for the legs. He already saw mine and was very pleased.”
“I would be more likely to give you 5 stars if I had some idea when my second set of legs were coming. I have received no updates and it's been nearly 3 weeks. My first set look great but I won't put them on until my floors go in as they are quite heavy and I don't want to be carrying this table from room to room. The first set came as scheduled.”
“Product is excellent. I do not care for any of the online service. I don't want to have to sign up for a service just to make a purchase, I almost didn't. No way to see information on shipping or expected shipping. I had to go through customer service to find the status of my order. However customer was very responsive and knowledgeable.”
“Overall, it's a really good looking and sturdy bed. And the price is very good, considering that it's made of solid ash and that it doesn't have a 5th leg in the middle. However, compared to other wooden beds on the marked, you'll need to put in some finishing work before you can use it:
1. The plywood slats came not sanded and the edges are very rough and splintery. I'd recommend sanding them down before you assemble the bed. I cut myself with a large splinter handling the slats.
2. The bed came with some minor dents in the frame that could be fixed by wet ironing and sanding. But because there were so minor, I didn't bother.
3. One of the threaded inserts got pulled out pretty easily when I tried to assemble the bed. Luckily, I had some epoxy that I used to re-install it and it worked fine after that.
4. The bed has unfinished surface. If you are into that kind of a thing, it can be an upside, but I chose to finish it with a nice hard wax oil, which really improved the color of the ash.
In conclusion, it's a good buy if you don't mind putting in a bit of work into it before you use it.”
“So far so good! The legs arrived very well packed and protected. They are beautiful and just the shape I had in mind for my dining room table! They were very easy to paint and look amazing. Just waiting to finish up the table top to see how they look on the completed project.”
“I bought a platform bed, Hartford model. It was reasonably easy to assemble. I was glad that the bed and hardware were produced in the USA. One defect in the construction was that one hole had not been drilled to fasten the middle support boards of my queen-sized bed. This was primarily an esthetic defect, since these boards sit in pockets of the endboards and canβt slide out.”
“We really love this bed frame. If you have ever had a bed frame sag in the middle with two people on it you will know the pain your neck and back feels in the morning. This bed fixes that issue and looks damn beautiful while doing it. The only minor issues we ran into was some of the stapled together boards bow a bit and need a bit of persuasion with a rubber mallet to get the dowel pins to fully seat in their respective mating holes. The other issue I ran into was the threaded hardware likes to strip itself on a few of the insert nuts, I couldn't figure out why it ended up doing this but I just ended up not securing two of four the bed slats that ask to be secured. No big deal but I would like to know why this happened.”
