After doing the initial review below one of Vardy's marketing staff contacted me instantly and was keen to have the car back at Hillington immediately for further examintion. This was carried out by return and a courtesy car was supplied during the period of my car being in your care. My car was ready for collection within a few days, finished as it should have been the first time. Please convey to your staff my thanks for the repair work which is finished to a very high standard, as it should have been initially.

The whole experience was deflated completely when viewing the new used car on collection; there were stone clip marks on the bonnet of the car. Having purchased 12 cars, from main dealers and used car outlets, I have never received a car with chip marks on it and therefore I was extremely disappointed. This was highlighted to staff Robert MacDonald, Harry Robertson (sales manager) and Mr Cohrone (the manager of the preparation of the cars) at Hillington. It was then brought to my attention that any marks that can not be viewed 2 metres from the vehicle are left unfinished. This information can be viewed within Peter Vardy's sales area but not brought to my attention until the day of collection. I did test drive a model of the car which I purchased but not the car that was allocated to me. If during the course of the test drive an inspection on the car I certainly would not have agreed to the offer.
