Mark Russell
I initially reserved a vehicle and paid deposit online, i then went it to see the car & was told the vehicle had been sold. I spent a few hours in motorstore & found an alternative. I done the deal on the Monday & received a few extras & discount due to the misunderstanding. I went to collect vehicle on the Thursday & unfortunately i misplaced my photo i.d. which is my own fault but when i was in i was told my car wasnt even ready, so even if i had my i.d. i would have still left without the car. Now today Monday 28th October i went in with suitable i.d. to collect car. Everything was approved. I went outside to my new car & not one thing has been done to my car as agreed. For starters the paintwork has not been attended to as agreed. The nsr door is all scratched and dented. Alloys have not been redurbished as agreed. The rear tow eye cover was missing. No parcel shelf in car. On rear boot floor it was covered in mussy footprints. The boot seal was hanging off. Overspray all over rear bumper lower part. The drivers exterior mirror & A pillar is covered in glue from tape marks. The car was not washed and covered in dust, plastics have water marks all over them. The steering wheel is sitting off centre. The interior still has the marks on it from when i initially saw it. And the worst part is i had to get a plastic seat cover from the salesman to put on my drivers seat as all the seats were wet! I only received one key amd was told the other key would be posted out. What happens if that key goes missing in the post? The fuel receipt was sitting on my passenger seat and the fuel was spilled all down from the diesel cap and not cleaned. I coupsnt link my bluetooth as all the devices hadnt been wiped from the memory & the names were not very appropriate on the screen. The sat nav was full of the previous owners trips & his home address is still in the memory of the car, which i may be mistaken is a breach of GDRP. I have spent 10k on this vehicle & yes it isbt the biggest sale for a company like yourself but to myself is a lot of money & the excitement of buying a new car has not beem there with Peter Vardy's. Im so disappointed in the whole experience. I was so looking forward to purchasing my new car & now ive been left angry & hurt by the whole experience. I now have to bring my car in to get all this work fixed & im not that confident that it will be done to your so called advertised standards. I would not recommend any of my family or friends is using yourselves now. The salesman was more than apologetic and helpful bit the whole experience has sadly been a huge let down
