Have only just purchased this Pet Porte Microchip Smart Cat Flap and are still trying to persuade our two rather nervous cats to use it. However, it is fantastic not to have any sign of the stray, possibly feral cat, which was entering through our previous cat flap and, not only spraying everywhere, but also fighting with our cats - hence their nervousness. The cat flap was relatively easy to install and to programme. I think the overhanging porch/scanner is taking our cats a bit of getting used to. We will persevere and I am sure eventually persuade them to use it. Yes, I would certainly recommend this very good product as an answer to receiving unwanted nocturnal visits.
