My husband is not great at DIY, but managed to fit this flap with ease as the instructions were very clear. Our cats have never used a cat flap before but learnt to use this within 10 mins with the help of some ham. This flap is easy for our cats to use because of the bendy door, much easier for them to open than a standard cat flap. There are no incoming drafts from the flap either which was my only concern.
