I dont stop cycling just because it gets dark early from fall to spring. The ampp800 is incredibly bright for all the dark country roads I ride. I actually use it on top of my helmet and use my other older cateye headlight (volt800) on my handle. Not only do they create daylight on dark roads, I ride in the rain and snow(when it's not sticking to the road) and have no problems. Lastly, their customer care is fantastic. I had a question and the cateye rep replied very quickly and resolved the issue. If your considering purchasing a cateye product, don't hesitate, your safety depends on it.
