I chose a dress in March for my daughters wedding at the beginning of August and didn’t have the greatest experience as there wasn’t a lot to try on in my size and didn’t like any of them so when I tried on the one I bought it was a beautiful dress and I liked it but on hindsight it is totally the wrong shape for me and after even losing a bit of weight still didn’t look great on me so I have worried about it since. I came back to the shop last weekend and took the dress and matching shoes and bag which cost me just over £1100 and tried it on before trying anything else on to let the assistant see it and it was agreed that the style and the colour really didn’t suit me. I tried a few different dresses including the same dress but in a darker colour, which did suit me a bit better but I was really disappointed that there was no come & go regarding possibly swapping the dress or even the bag & shoes to a different colour and would have to buy everything again. They did say eventually if I bought another dress they would give 10% off but was just really disappointed with them and their rigidity and no compassion for the situation I was in and the dress was still this years stock. I was also a returning customer having bought my outfit for my sons wedding 3 years ago. I would have liked a bit of honesty regarding the style when I purchased and only got that when I returned but nothing could be done.
