I have been registered on Cat in a Flat for 9 months as a user in Belgium, and my experience has been very disappointing.
For the first 3 months, my account was inactive because my Stripe account (used to receive payments) was not properly set up — and I was never informed about it.
Once that issue was resolved, I encountered another serious problem: my profile is incorrectly geolocated. I keep receiving catsitting requests from people located more than 10 km away, even though my address is correct. I even ran a test: when searching for a catsitter in Overijse (3090), my profile shows up as being 1.2 km away, when in reality it is about 9 km.
I contacted customer support several times but received no response, which is extremely frustrating.
After 9 months on this platform — 3 months lost due to the inactive account and 6 months with unresolved issues and zero support — I cannot recommend this app if you expect a reliable and responsive service.
