I booked and paid for $75 one way flight earlier in the day 9/11/23. Later that evening someone named “EDGE” called 714-782-7106 from Anaheim in Orange County CA. He called to inform me they overbooked and the airfare had gone up and I needed to pay an additional $30. I refused and told him no, and he put me on hold for 3-4 minutes and said they would issue a $30 credit to offset the increase. I said great and we hung up. Later that evening I noticed a $74 charge I did not recognize. I called the next morning to my credit card and they confirmed it was from Cheap Flights. I told them it was not authorized and that I had problems with that company the night before. I had to cancel my credit card to avoid the charge and now go through the hassle of getting a replacement while traveling. Cheap Flights are scam artists and up to no good. I will not use them again. Found them through Kayak search engine- beware!
