I booked Allegiant through Cheap flights Fares and I probably will not do so again. My error, I suppose, since the last time I flew (2 years ago), I purchased economy, but did not have to pay extra for my seat and can take a backpack and a purse as my personal item without paying $77. For one of them. My point is, you list flight prices for comparison, the consumer chooses the best price/time combo for themselves and the airlines pack on more unexpected fees. I have not had this problem in the past with Priceline in the past. Now I'm wondering if you negotiate separate deals with airlines that allows them to present a lower rate but then pad the fare.
