I booked a flight at a really good rate & was excited about the great deal I had. But then, my Credit Card company delayed payment, until they could varify the purchase. Within 5 minutes of this notification, Cheapflightsfares would not honor the rate. They said tickets were limited and that rate was no longer available. They said I could purchase the ticket at $39 more than the previous rate...after a breif discussion....the agent offered me a $10 reduction, $29 more. I argued a little more and ended up paying $2 more than the original rate.....seems like my great deal had to be "negotiated" a little more! Cheap Flight Fares ended up calling me back and apologized for the inconvenience and offered me the original price plus a credit toward my next flight. The $$ wasn't the issue, it was the "up sale" that made it hard to swallow. But they were gracioius about the situation and conceerned about my expereiance...seemed to value me as a customer, not just another purchase!
