I booked a flight with ChecknFly on Monday, March 10th, at a reasonable price—not the cheapest on the market, but still competitive. Everything seemed fine until, six hours later, an agent called me to inform me that the ticket I had already purchased was “no longer available” and that I would need to pay more for a different ticket. I refused to pay extra, and when I checked prices again, I realized that all the cheaper tickets I had previously seen were no longer available. The only options left were significantly more expensive than when I had initially booked. In the end, ChecknFly refused to offer me a ticket at all, leaving me without a booking. This deceptive practice caused me to lose hundreds of pounds, not only because I was forced to pay a much higher price for a new ticket, but also due to the non-refundable hotels and attractions I had already booked for my trip. It seems clear that ChecknFly lures customers in with attractive prices, only to later claim the tickets are unavailable and pressure them into paying more. This is dishonest and unacceptable. I strongly recommend booking directly with airlines or reputable travel agencies to avoid falling victim to such tactics. Would not recommend ChecknFly to anyone!
