Absolute shambles! Had to walk miles through poorly lit fields. Our pre booked taxi refused to pick up from main carpark, told to walk to Blackly Lane or cross the dual carriageway? Local taxi companies ( Yelo ) and the racecourse really need to communicate better. The upshot is we missed the taxi because we couldn’t get to the lane, stewards gave no choice, taxi wouldn’t wait, we had to walk 8 miles home.
