With the sudden death of my beloved Herbert Hoover (my dog, not the former president), I forgot to cancel my automatic shipments of his specialty dog food. I contacted chewy.com to inform them I would need to cancel this subscription fully expecting that I would pay for the case of food that was already en route. Not only did I receive personal condolences emails from multiple staff, they refunded my payment and kindly asked me to donate the food to a local shelter! I was more than impressed with these kind gestures and kept telling people about this amazingly thoughtful company when I came home from work a couple days later only to find a beautiful floral arrangement from my chewy.com friends...I will forever be a chewy.com customer. A company that remembers and cares about their customers and really does give back to the community.
