“Chewy sells its American Journey Dog Food cans that are severely damaged in production as new products. I have called customer service, I have written letters, and the only outcome is that I am banned from leaving reviews on their site. No one should be subjected to inferior dog food cans at full price.”

“On 6/24/2026, I received a floral boutique from Chewy in sympathy of my daughter's cat passing, whom we would purchase renal canned food from Chewy. This was unexpected, but one of, if not the nicest sympathy remembrance on behalf of a per of ours.”

“Was unable to purchase dog food for my dog. I called several times and chatted. I was told they were not able to tell me why. Ghosted me in the chat. Never had a problem previously. It was, though my account was blacklisted for some unknown reason, no explanation. This used to be a good company, but is no longer a customer service people who are not friendly as they used to be. I removed all my auto shipments and my credit card. Will never use this company again. I’ve told all my friends about my terrible experience. Never again. I have found other places to obtain everything and it turns out I found cheaper sources for everything no problems at all.”

“Dr. Danica H. Was amazing to talk with and gave me the peace of mind I needed to hold out on going to the vet for something that fixed itself fyi dont sprey cologne or perfume where it can come in contact with your dog”

“Chewy is one of the best, most reliable companies I have ever seen. They deliver promptly. Their customer service is outstanding! All humans, very helpful and kind. Their products are consistently good. In case of an issue, like delivery sent to the wrong address, they immediately intervene and resolve the issue.”

“I lost my beloved dog this past week. An auto shop order came shortly before his passing, Chewy is refunding this order. They have the best pricing, best customer service and are truly compassionate. Thank you Chewy!”

“They are amazing at autoshops and food. Been using them for years. However prescriptions not so much. They say usually shops 1 or 2 days after review. What they don't say, but should, is that nothing ships on weekends. Placed my order on June 4th, it's now the 7th and my dogs pain medication is still preparing to ship. Since it's pain meds for after hos surgery I called yesterday morning and was told it was just waiting for FedEx to pick it up. Ok I thought. He woke me up at 4 panting and in pain so I called again. That's when I was told they don't ship on weekends. If that had been posted I'd have bought a bottle of the 30 mg my vet had so I had something until they shipped the 100 mg. Not happy at all.”

“We have been using Chewy.com for over a year now for our cat food. The auto ship option has always worked well for us and arrives quickly. Unfortunately, our sweet cat passed away and while we were grieving, we realized the food had already been automatically charged and shipped to us. We called customer service to ask for a refund and cancel the shipment, and they very quickly handled this for us. The were kind, empathetic, and even offered to take any additional cat food off our hands so we didn't have to worry about it. They also cancelled our auto ship for us. Their excellent customer service meant so much to us during our time of grief.”

“I was always a fan of chewy, I have been ordering from them for years and never had an issue. Today they went above and beyond though. We lost our cat about a year and a half ago but I forgot to mark him as deceased. I realized the other day and updated his profile to deceased and today I received flowers from them. I thought this was especially sweet and caring and really makes a difference to people who are grieving their pets. Thank you Chewy!”

“It is pathetic that a disabled 80+ woman has to be on the mercy of people to bring up her boxes from the lobby. Because your delivery person is too lazy to leave it on her doorstep, for which she lives on the 3rd floor in apartment/unit #307 at 65 N Allen Ave. Pasadena, CA 91106. PATHETIC!!”

“You left box on our driveway. My husband went out to pick up…weighed about 100 lbs, he fell over backwards, hit the back of his head. We will have to cancel you & just get from grocery. No heavy boxes and they load for me. Btw, My husband is is in great pain… You’re going to hurt someone bad if you haven’t already.”

“I have used Chewy's autoship for about 7 years and have always received my (laaarge!!) orders. Today my order was delivered but was stolen and Chewy immediately send a replacement confirmation. This company embodies exceptional customer service! I will stick with them as long as they and I are in business!”

“Well the last three orders I've had problems with them delivering on time , still waiting on my order that was supposed to be here yesterday, called customer service she said welp it's on the truck to be delivered for today , and that's what they said yesterday, today was supposed to be delivered from noon to three now they're telling me it could be until 800 , I can't just sit around all day waiting for it to show up , this will be the last time I order from chewy!!!!”
