Customer service is exceptional. I have used Chewy exclusively for my bunny, my cat, my horse Rx, and my dog food for many years. Zero complaints. Recently my beloved English setter passed away, I contacted Chewy and asked to cancel the autoship for him while still retaining the other pets items on an autoship but as separate autoshipments for each. Customer service asked if there was a problem with anything concerning the cancelled autoship that they could help me with. I explained that the dog had passed. In a few days I received a beautiful arrangement of yellow roses and carnations with a note from Chewy sending heartfelt condolences. I was overwhelmed! Companies simply don’t do this kind of thing anymore.

Thank you Chewy.com ! We received a dozen rainbow roses today! Totally unexpected & so touching! Our precious pug Wilbur died in 2020 but we had not notified them until a week ago when they were asking about pet meds etc. What a wonderful and caring gesture. It meant so much. They have all the best toys, dog food and their pharmacy is top notch. When I had a problem with my vet writing the wrong prescription the pharmacist from chewy called me direct and then corrected it with my vet. Their delivery is fast (second to none) and ordering is simple with great discounts. Amazing! 10 Stars for Chewy

I decided to try Chewy's pharmacy department for the first time, simply to order some flea and tick medication for my pet. The process started off smoothly—I placed the order and received an email within 24 hours confirming my vet's approval. However, a week later, my order was still stuck in "preparing for shipment" status. I called that morning and spoke with an agent who assured me they would expedite the order. By the end of the business day, there was no change—it was still in the same status. I then reached out via chat support and was told that I needed to verify my shipping address and that the order was still waiting for vet approval, even though that had supposedly already been handled earlier that same day. Frustrated, I asked to cancel the order. I was told it was too late to do so, but after insisting, I was eventually informed that the order was canceled. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I was left feeling like there was a lack of communication and urgency on their end.

I was navigating Chewy's site looking for some pet treats for my dogs and cat. I couldn't find any deals, so l contacted customer service to speak to one of their agents. I asked if they could send me any links on dog/cat treats, and every link they sent has NOTHING to do with either deals or treats. I then said you are not sending me the links I'm asking for. To which this lady on the other side of the phone, starts her sentence with the words WELL FRANKLY!! I am a customer DO NOT say to me well frankly! I received a survey from Chewy', l told them l did not appreciate their associate starting her answer with well frankly, and l told them l didn't appreciate her response.. Did l hear back from Chewy about my response? No! Completely dissatisfied with their so called customer service! Train your employees better Chewy and have them leave their attitude home ...

I’ve been a faithful Chewy customer for almost 5 years. With a small dog and three cats that are all very spoiled and well fed, it’s been very convenient. Especially due to my being disabled. I had been very happy with everything about Chewy until the last three months. First an order was delayed. Many phone calls later it had been shipped to the west coast and they had to re-ship. Or something like that. One shipment was packed so tight that the kitty litter container had broken and litter was everywhere, including my house. Then another order got delayed. I was told different stories about that one. Thankfully the medication got here but I had to order everything else from Walmart. They sent the wrong litter in one order. The people I spoke with were not helpful or understanding. One lady was borderline rude. I don’t understand why everything had been so good for so long and then changed. I’m going to give them another try. I hope I don’t have to start ordering from Walmart.

We placed a medication order to the house we were moving to. So pur dogs would be covered when we got there. It never showed up and after calling to verify they told me they'd expedite my order, instead they canceled it! A week later, we still have not received our refund of almost $300! They didn't like that we had a different address. Or that I placed the order with my husband's card. The customer service guy could have e asked about these things instead he lied to me and screwed us over. We are NEVER shopping at Chewy again!

I love that when you call customer service you speak to a real person. I love that the person is friendly, cheerful and always fixes what I've messed up. My last call I was recovering from a cold and exhaustion. A couple of weeks later I recieved a box from Chewy that had a get-well card, a cup with the Chewy logo and a TAZO teabag. THANK YOU TO ALL CHEWY EMPLOYEES!!

Chewy.com is an AMAZING company. 4 years ago our Yellow Lab got cancer and had to have surgery on his paw. I needed an expensive medication to help him heal. Chewy was able to auto ship the medication to me at half of the price I was paying else ware. Even though the cancer was in remission for a few years, it finally took him away from us recently. The staff has been amazing all the way through this experience. Even this week when I called to cancel his auto ship medication and dog food orders, the compassion they showed for our loss was comforting. They even refunded my money for the unused bag of dog food that had just been delivered! I will be donating it to the animal shelter. I highly recommend Chewy for all your pet needs! Thank you Chewy for being there for our precious (four legged) family member.

I have been a Chewy customer for many years. Recently my dog passed away and I donated all of the remaining supplies to an animal sanctuary. I still had a thirty dollar bonus card which had not been used yet. Chewy not only refunded the money on my original purchase but was able to send supplies on my behalf to a sanctuary using the bonus card. I was also sent gorgeous flowers. They have gone above and beyond Thank you for your kindness Linda from Las Vegas

I recently had to put my 17-year-old cat to sleep. She was in Renal failure, and I no longer needed her special diet foods. When asked why I was sending back the food (they refunded me) I told them about my cat. They completely understood my pain. They even sent me a beautiful bouquet of flowers! They are a caring company who take their customers' needs very seriously.

They sell a pet door made by Ruff Weather. It is advertised that it fits a door or wall up to 7 inches. As they sell it, it does not fit a wall. On the box in big letters (which nobody ever read - they just put up on their website what the manufacturer tells them the rep said when I called) it states that a kit must be purchased to use on a wall. The Chewy rep had not idea where to get it, how much it costs. I just had to spend $53 DOLLARS MORE TO GET THIS KIT.

Extremely frustrating website experience. As a guest, you're only allowed to add one gift card—and once it's added, it gets locked to that guest session. If you back out or don’t complete the purchase, the gift card remains tied to that temporary guest account. After creating a full account, that same gift card can’t be transferred or used, essentially making it unusable. I've spent over a month trying to resolve this issue with Chewy customer service, with no success so far.

YOU REALLY WOWED ME TODAY! I really want to thank EVERYONE at CHEWY for going so incredibly above and beyond today! Let me start by saying I have worked in Customer Service my entire career! I had to put my 15 1/2 year old baby Bella down yesterday after a long wonderful life! I was working from home today, and the doorbell rang. I thought it was an Amazon order and I opened the door to receive flowers and a beautiful note from your amazing company. What an incredibly beautiful gesture this was! I have told everybody I possibly can about this, I can’t even tell you what this means to me! While I can’t think about another animal at this moment. If I ever do get another animal or if anybody ever asked me what company to use to get any pet products you can guarantee that I will highly recommend you guys for the rest of my life!
