I like Chewy's products... Their shipping dept stinks !!! !@#$% They hv no clue how to ship product,without it getting damaged.

I don't know who giving this company five stores but they surely is a lie avoid even shopping with this company they are going to send you the wrong dog food cat food the wrong everything then they going to make you wait three days for their wrong for doing they will not conversate you for their mess up go somewhere else don't even waste your time in the reviews half of them is a lie cuz if you go to Google you will see the real reveals

Horrible company. Horribly ineffective and inefficient customer service. I placed an order twice from my initial new account that I created. The charge immediately showed from my bank app on my iPhone. Both times I received follow up emails after the order confirmation email that my orders were cancelled. I utilized online chat and called in and spoke to humans on the phone. No one could solve the issue. One worker emailed me some sort of account verification link. I clicked it and verified my account. This still did not solve it though. I tried placing the order again and again it was soon automatically cancelled. I called them again. They said their "Protection and Wellness" team just needed to look over my account and if they needed anything, would reach out. They said everything looked good. I was using my own large national bank debit card, my own address, and my own email address. Ridiculous. I waited two or three more days and attempted to log back in and place the order for the third time. I could not log in. The Chewy workers had apparently deleted my account. I created a new account with a secondary email address. This did not solve the problem! Everything repeated again. Even to the point where two days later, I could now not log in with my secondary email address. Chewy workers and / or their "Protection and Wellness Team" had deleted my second account as well. No one contacted me. No emails received. No odd payment methods, etc. But they deleted my second account and still kept cancelling my orders. Horrible company. Horrible workers. (I can't be labelled as a "Verified Buyer" because Chewy would allow me to place an order!)

Chewy used to be great. Not so much anymore. My second last order was delivered and thrown at the end of my driveway (a day before it was supposed to arrive) in a snow storm. I lost half a $100 lb bag of dog food as it was hit by the truck that plows my driveway. I was offered a $25 discount on my next bag to compensate (apparently math is hard). I ordered a bag with the reduced price and it was delivered yesterday... and thrown in a snow drift in the driveway AGAIN! Customer service response was that they would log a complaint. I will be switching to Amazon.

Although I am usually pleased with the products, the delivery is a problem! I’m not sure why, when you order three items on the same date, at the same time ,only one box is delivered? I checked the tracking information, and both were to be delivered together, or at least within the same few hours. I contacted Customer Service, which was a complete waste of time and even though both boxes came from the same destination, at the same time, their answer was that, I should now when I order take more time and effort to “manage my deliveries. Isn’t thisChewy’s job?? why can’t the tracking information be accurate and consistent with what is provided on their website? Disappointing.😞😞

Several weeks back I interrupted the delivery of an AutoShip Shipment. It had special prescription food for my 16 year old girl. Sadly I had recently had to say goodbye to her. So I called Chewy to discuss why I stopped the shipment and talked to Nancy, I believe. She was understanding, kind and showed empathy for my situation. She actually caught me off guard really. We discussed my reason for stopping the delivery, helped me reorganize my AutoShipments and get a new order on the way. I’m a long time customer and have never had an issue with this company. Plus I’m always comparing prices to other retailers to get the best prices and they are competitive. I’m very happy with Chewy com. Anyway following this conversation where I left very pleased at the help and kindness that Nancy provided, I was delivered a gift from the company. It absolutely blew me away, a gesture I will never forget. Thank you to Nancy for her help and compassion and to the company for being such a class act. My deepest appreciation and gratitude. Thank you!

Chewy’s customer service is top notch. If I ever felt a company truly cared about its consumers (ie pets of all kinds) and customers (the pet parents) Chewy IS IT!! They have helped me save $$ in so many ways for the sake of my animals well being. If there is a promo that is not applicable to their special diet food they figure out a way for me to get the discount in one way or another. Plus, their free vet tech advice saved me from having to spend hundreds on vet bill. I am on a fixed income and their compassion, care, understand and love for my pets is insurmountable!!

Don’t EVER buy from chewy the site is such a joke! Got my dog a new shock collar it stopped working after 2 months they said to send it back and the would send a new one, so we sent it back and months go by never got a new one in the mail when I called to see about a replacement they said they didn’t receive anything and didn’t have any record of me requesting a replacement so now I don’t get my money back or his collar. One very pregnant mom who’s on bed rest and upset.

Overall good experience. Customer service is very good. However, for people really watching their pennies, BE AWARE THAT THEIR PRICES PER OUNCE/PER POUND ARE MISLEADING. Their prices per ounce/per pound are APPROXIMATE, not exact. For example, if a single product item is listed at 16 cents per ounce, and you see that a bundle of two or three count of that item is listed as 15 cents per ounce, please know that the total bundle price is not calculated at 15 cents per ounce. You are getting the overall bundle price listed at the top of the price listing, and that bundle price is not cheaper than the individual item price. CHEWY CUSTOMER SERVICE ADMITTED TO ME THAT THE PER OUNCE/PER POUND PRICES ARE APPROXIMATE.

Chewy warehouse lied about received returns, and refused to refund. It happened to 3 of the 4 packages. Do NOT buy anything from Chewy. They LIE.

Joined in 2018 and great for years but lately have just gone to hell. When you are more unreliable than Amazon, you’ve hit rock bottom and Chewy is definitely there. Every order I have placed recently either has shown up late or not shown up at all. Customer service has gone from phenomenal to absolutely deplorable to the point where I just deleted my entire account and will never do business with them again.

I was placing my order and in conversation I was asked how my dogs were. I mentioned that Lulu was just diagnosed with cancer. A couple of days later in the mailbox was a chewy package. Not big enough to be the food. It was an adorable squeaky toy for her. That touched my heart. I called to thank them. This is a very special company. They care. You always get a live person. They are always friendly and helpful. Great company

I’m very disappointed with my recent experience. My dog food order was delayed with no real updates or communication from the company. I reached out on Saturday and again on Sunday, but both times I was simply told what was already visible on the FedEx tracking page — no effort to actually resolve the issue. Because of the delay, I was forced to spend $50 on a different brand of dog food just to make sure my dog had something to eat. Anyone who knows about pet care understands that transitioning to a new food has to be done gradually to avoid stomach issues, so this situation has been stressful and unnecessary. To make things worse, the company only offered a $5.00 credit for the inconvenience, which feels like a weak response considering the lack of communication and the extra cost I had to take on. The brand I normally order is only available through this website, so I expected much better service and reliability. Unless this is resolved properly, I’ll have to reconsider ordering from here again.

Love Chewy, they have great customer service. Anytime I call I get a real preson. They have great products, prices, fast shipping. They have done special things when my pets have passed away. They go above and beyond.

I have been ordering from Chewy for over 10 years and have never been more impressed with a company. Chewy offers an amazing selection of items and stands behind all of them. If you are not happy with your item, they either accept it back for a full return or suggest that you donate it to a local animal shelter. What stand over even more is the outstanding staff that is more than helpful and exceptionally engaging. Most recently, I had reviewed a cat food that I had ordered. Unfortunately, my cat's system didn't agree with it. Chewy not only reimbursed me for the food but followed up to see how my cat was doing with the new food that I ordered. I had the pleasure of interacting with one of their amazing customer service individuals, Alexis. Not only did she exceed all my expectations with her assistance and humor but sent me a handwritten card with treats and toys for my kittens. Chewy's commitment to customer service exceeds excellence!

About 2 weeks ago our sweet Maizey became very ill. After a couple days with no improvement, we took her to our vet. She took blood tests and did a thorough exam. After spending a night and receiving IV meds we saw no change. In fact she had lost her will to live. So after spending some time with her, we decided it was time to send her over the rainbow bridge. Today we received a beautiful card and a stone dedicated to her. Both were beautiful and heartwarming. Thank you so much.💕💕
