The Shaker Writing Desk I ordered was just as advertised. It was easy to assemble, sturdy, the craftsmanship is outstanding and the color is perfect. The only thing that disappointed me is the lack of rail guides on the two drawers, which allows the drawers to tip downward and nearly fall out when opened fully. As a piece of custom-made furniture, I thought rail guides would be standard. The customer service I experienced was excellent! Questions about products were answered in a timely manner and my sales representative was very attentive and courteous. I plan to purchase more furniture from Chilton and would gladly recommend them to family and friends.
