The Shaker Writing Desk is a very attractive piece of furniture and practical as well. The desktop area is more than adequate as a workspace. I'm glad that I decided to purchase a glass top to keep the surface protected. The two drawers are small, but will hold enough of my necessary items. In the summer humidity, I notice that one of the drawers swelled a bit, making it sticky to open and shut. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.
