Well, it sleeps good, no squeaks or rattles. The finish is nicely toned and I look forward to it getting some darker tones. The headboard is not quite as rustic as I would have liked, but the eye gets used to most anything. The slats fit precisely between the block spacers with no hardware. And we like the setback legs. All in all, a well constructed and handsome bed.
