I’m very disappointed with the delivery timing. The date of purchase was September 24. I was quoted 10-12 weeks for delivery but verbally told at the time of purchase it would likely take much less time. The nightstand was supposed to be a Christmas present which was 13 weeks from purchase date. In late November, I touched base and was told that the builder was going to move order to the front of the line. Clearly they did not. I picked up the nightstand this week 18 weeks after I placed my order and more than 2 months after the order was moved to the “front of the line”.
After posting my initial review, I communicated with the owner via email and phone. I learned the circumstances leading to the delayed delivery. The contract builder had recently changed ownership and the new owner experienced start up issues. Also, due to the delays, in January I was given a rebate on my purchase. Although I was disappointed in the delayed delivery, Chilton and its owners are committed to do right by their customers.
