I bought a pair of items from Chisolm Hunter online for a total of over £300. Only one item was delivered, despite the dispatch note clearing stating both has been issued and the parcel clearly being labelled 1 of 1 when it arrived. In short, it was absolutely clear that Chisolm Hunter had got my order wrong.
I spent over half an hour on hold to customer services querying where the second half of my order was. When I finally got an answer, it was clear there was no apology or recognition that if I hadn't chased up my order, the second half likely would never have been sent. Indeed the rep initially tried to fob me of by saying it was being dispatched separately, before checking and realising that it hasn't actually been sent at all.
To her credit, she subsequently checked and got the item dispatched as soon as she realised there had been a mistake. But for the amount of money spent it was extremely poor customer service and I certainly will not be purchasing online from Chisolm Hunter again.
