I purchased a relatively expensive watch, which was priced at the thick end of £1000.
The watch arrived in some bubble wrap with a Royal Mail bag wrapped around it.
Inside was a beaten up Longines box, which had the wrong labels and instruction manual inside.
The customer support team sent a new box after trying to explain that this is ‘just’ the outer box. This is fine if the purchase is for yourself. But for a special present, you’d like to think a pristine outer box wasn’t too much to ask for.
Either way, the watch is nice and now so is the outer packaging.
Just a shame they couldn’t get it right first time.
