I obtained the South America VPN code key and tried their theory that is explained in their guidelines.
The theory did work. However, I had to do it on my phone for it to work. And I had to use a different VPN product as Tunnelbear did not work.
I had to "purchase" a free trial VPN called NordVPN for it to work. Then immediately cancel the subscription so I wasn't charged.
It was more of a pain than it described and took around 45 minutes. But, I have saved money and it did work in the end.
