I purchased a ring for my wife for her birthday. I ordered it months in advance to make sure it arrived here in the US on time to give it to her. When she tried it on, I realized I had purchased the wrong size. I contacted Claddagh Jewelers to see about exchanging it for a larger size and was told that the ring had been discontinued. Thats when I heard from Maureen. She, on her own, contacted the ring manufacturer and had a VERY similar ring made in the size I needed, at no charge to me, and sent me pictures of it to compare. My original order was placed well outside of their refund/exchange policy, yet Maureen went far above and beyond to personally help me, and make sure I was a satisfied customer. I cannot say enough about her uncompromising alacrity to go the extra mile for a simple customer. We emailed back and forth about a dozen times, and I inevitably sent the original ring back to her, and received the new one within a week. Everything went off without a hitch. Maureen should be commended for her efforts. I am amazed at her eagerness to help satisfy a customer who, of no fault of her own, simply ordered the wrong thing. She worked diligently to rectify the situation, and her communication we me was flawless. I am a very happy, and appreciative customer who will DEFINITELY use Claddagh Jewelers for future purchases.
