I took a punt and bought an opal Clanndagh ring for my wife and our 18th wedding anniversary. My wife is minimalistic and particular. I wanted to reinforce our love, friendship and loyalty for each other as well as finish off her opal earing and pendant set. I said in the card what that we had been to the store on our travels years ago and that it was a mark of my hetitage along with what the ring meant to me as she had stood by me through my depression and stepping down from work. I also said for her to at least wear it when we went out together on date nights. She hasn't taken it off and loves it! I am elated. Thank you.
