I am very happy with the original Poldark series 1 and 2 DVD set. I also have the complete original BBC video cassettes, and all the books, which covered even more of the story . It is just as I remember. The new Poldark which BBC recently did is not a touch on the original. For anyone who enjoyed the recent version and hasn't seen the original I would highly recommend they purchase the original.
