I booked a rear brake discs and pads replacement through ClickMechanic. Without warning, the price was changed on my dashboard more than double — and I was never notified. ClickMechanic blamed the mechanic for increasing it himself without informing me, but after speaking to him directly, I found out he didn’t change the booking. He simply asked for a price increase due to their 30% cut, and ClickMechanic updated it themselves without telling me. I cancelled and went to the mechanic directly, who did the job perfectly. Thankfully, ClickMechanic cancelled the booking without charging me, but the lack of transparency and blame-shifting was disappointing. Use with caution — the concept is convenient, but the execution was poor.
