I returned a faulty car financed through Close Brothers. They refunded only the deposit and refused to return the rest of the finance payments – even though the car was later sold at auction.
They claimed the complaint was resolved but never sent a Final Response Letter, blaming an “office error.” My husband has cancer, and we care for a disabled child. We informed their solicitor, but the company offered no compassion or resolution.
The case is now in court. This has been an exhausting and distressing experience. Not recommended.
