Ordered a dress for a friends wedding, it came, I tried on and didn’t like the fit so I put it back in package and returned with in timescales, Then 2 weeks later I got an email from Royal Mail to say my club l package was being delivered but I hadn’t ordered anything, To my surprise it was the dress I had already returned (which I returned with all labels and ribbon attached, no marks or damage, in perfect condition) So I emailed them, they didn’t reply, I emailed again, still no reply, I messaged on social media and then got a reply to my email with a screen shot of an email from abbey saying they had emailed me (I searched all my emails and this email was not found) at first they said it had been returned to me due to the condition it was returned in so I pushed back with photos showing the dress was in a perfect condition, they then said it was returned due to it looking like it had been worn. Once again I replied to this to say it was pretty impossible to wear it as it had a black ribbon all the way around the dress and tags still attached (I would of looked pretty stupid wearing that out) I asked for contact details or a senior manager or complaints department. To this I got an email signed of from ‘club l team leader’ saying it was returned due to it smelling like it had been worn ( I checked the smell of the dress! It doesn’t smell! Furthermore kinda insulting) 3 different excuses for not refunding me my money. Club L are scamming their customers and refusing refunds to perfectly returned items! I think the refund inspector and their customer service team all need some additional training! Looking on here it appears I’m not the only one who has experienced such an appalling service one of which seems to be exactly the same issue!
