Every few interviews I'll see a candidate who preferes vim and wants to answer the question on their own computer. I'll tell them they can use the terminal and the vim is shared, and they're always amazed. Frankly, I don't know why other platforms can't do this. They all have shared terminals, seems easy for them to make it navigable enough to be an editor.
