CLAW-PROOF COVER: It took me a long time to write this review because (sadly) we were without a cat for a while. Now we have two rambunctious young fellows who try their best to tear up the sofa cover, but miraculously it remains intact! The cover looks as good as it did on the day we opened the Comfort Works package. The velvet is very comfortable for humans and their feline overlords. This is not a plush velvet, which is fine with me. It stands up to cats! We ordered the dark blue and it is beautiful. Over the years I have purchased Ikea covers from various vendors, and COMFORT WORKS IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST IN EVERY WAY. Buy with confidence!
