Can you bring a dying Ikea Friheten couch back to life? Yes! We needed to replace our heavily used sofa bed. It sits in our TV room and doubles as a guest bed at least once to twice a year when relatives visit. The couch still worked but the pleather was peeling off and unraveling. After sewing back the parts that were split and putting a new cover on, I think I love it more now then when I first bought it. I love that we can pull off the covers and wash them too.
