Initially, I was hesitant about the high cost, but it turned out to be worth every penny. The cover I received is made of an incredibly strong but soft fabric (I went with the claw-proof velvet; my cat loves sleeping on it and it has held up great against her scratching so far), has very sturdy seams, and it fits even better than the cover that actually came with my couch. It's like I have a brand new couch now.
