I sometimes think our Petrie Mid-Century sofa from Crate and Barrel will last until the middle of the next century! Very sturdy and comfortable, overall. But. The fabric had become sun-stripped in places and was never very comfortable, due to a rough, itchy feel. Our Comfort Works slipcover in Cream Chenille is beautiful and soft. The sofa looks new and feels so much better to the touch. I'm impressed that the cover fits so well it looks like upholstery. We absolutely love it--it was worth every penny.
