I ordered Comfort Works signature velvet covers in eucalyptus for my IKEA SÖDERHAMN sofa, hoping for a durable and stylish upgrade. While the color was beautiful, the fit was off and the material felt surprisingly thin—especially for the price, which was more than the cost of the sofa itself. I chose the scratch-resistant signature velvet specifically because I have cats, but within weeks, they had already torn it up. It feels more like a soft slipcover than a truly durable fabric, and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the description. Customer service was also disappointing. When I reached out, I felt like they assumed I was at fault rather than trying to understand my concerns. I get that they’re running a business, but for a premium product, I expected a more accommodating and respectful approach. I like the flexibility of replacing sofa covers as a pet owner, but I wouldn’t recommend these based on my experience. The quality and support just didn’t match the price tag.
