All I wanted to do was cancel my renewal and wasted over 30 minutes of my precious time doing so. Despite making it very clear, the operator decided that I needed a re-quote and wasted a lot more time than necessary (under instructions I've no doubt). There should be an opt in/out option at the start of the policy to prevent p*ssing customers off. Making it such a difficult and time consuming process has lost them any chance of my and friends/family repeat business. I have opted to take my insurance with a company that made this process simple and they will be getting my repeat business, not only for this insurance but for all my insurance needs. So their money making scheme of automatic renewals has done the very opposite of its goals here. CONGRATULATIONS!!
