I always sort out my husband's insurance for his van. So when I rang One Call and informed them that I did not want to auto-renew because I was looking at other quotes online, the person I spoke to said that was okay. Then the policy renew date came up and One Call still took payment directly from my card (it was higher than other quotes I had received). I called them to complain and cancel. They told me that they would have to speak to my husband directly as the policy was in his name. I explained that I had spoken to someone before the renew date to cancel and they did not say at the time that they would need to speak to my husband to do this. Perhaps their customer service staff need better training?
