Just been live chatting with TJ2 and they very helpfully and quickly resolved a text messaged I received stating my policy was due to be cancelled. This was a result of me trying to cancel my policy after selling my previous car, only to be told I would be getting just £9.00 back for the remaining 6 months cover. So, I left the policy pending until I bought a new car, only to be charged a decent sum to add this new car when I changed the details online, which then seems to have confused their computer systems, hence the text message. However, despite their helpful staff, come renewal I will be going elsewhere, as I felt their offer of £9 was rather insulting with half a year’s insurance still left to run and not having claimed for anything, plus the amount they then charged to change the details. Edit: After receiving a phone call from One Call following my review, they agreed my experience could and should have been better when I tried to cancel my policy, and as a gesture of goodwill they offered a part refund on the cost of changing my car details online, which was appreciated. Therefore, I've given the company an extra star for at least recognising this, and taking the time to contact me.
