After being told that you could match or beat my quote, I was offered to renew my policy exactly at the cheaper price.
However, my no claims protection wasn’t renewed as per my previous policy (I found this out later and had to pay extra) and the automatic renewal wasn’t taken off making my bank account appear to go overdrawn several days later.
It was resolved but it was a morning of stress I could have done without.
