I contacted them via their messenger today to update the address on my policy as I have just moved from Cheshire to the Isle of Wight, to change my address they wanted £77.00 extra policy cost and £30 administration. I have moved to one of the most secure places in the UK and they want to increase my policy cost, add to this my policy only has a little over one month left to run, so working on the logic they have supplied it will cost me an extra £912.00 to renew for 12 months... When I suggested that they might recheck their calculation, I was more or less told "thats what the computer says.." I told them to cancel the policy and provide me with the details to complain they hung up the messenger! I went on line and searched a new policy direct with AXA which was £90 cheaper than last year and gave me an extra £5000 cover should my trailer be stolen!
