Logged a 'non fault' claim and after 6 weeks rang to progress it. Discovered that they had closed the file as they were unable to contact me (although strangely I had received no calls, emails or letters from them) and passed it to an underwriter. Had to restart the whole process but now have to prove liability again and potentially lose my no claims bonus as a result! What exactly am I paying them for???
