Chat with jd7 I wanted to cancel my car insurance policy after having to scrap my car. I was not happy to only get back about half my annual premium after only being on cover for 6 weeks. The accumulation of insurers cancellation fee, your cancellation fee and the renewal fee seems a rip off. I am also surprised that you charge a renewal fee for me auto renewing year after year. I have minimised your admin cost, given you recurring income and avoided you having to incur marketing and business acquisition cost. I feel customers who show any loyalty are just being taken advantage of. On the chat with Josh (jd7) he explained the breakdown of the charge quickly and well and the overall experience via chat seemed pleasanter than the frustrations you normally get when trying to telephone a company (call in queue, left on hold, passed around). The Chat experience I rate very good but I am only giving poor on the question how do I rate one call as I feel ripped off on the refund. Also when my car broke down I called the included recovery service - 2 recovery operators never turned up and I was only picked up by the third who said he was from a company you would not normally work with as they are too large. I was waiting in the cold on the roadside for 4 hours on Sunday afternoon and so cant say I was happy with this aspect!
