I was very disappointed with the service I received from One Call Insurance. I know we are in strange times now, but I sold my car on Thursday, it took 3 days to get through to a chat line to discuss as the car I purchased was not covered by my current insurer. I ended up having to take a short term policy with the garage to cover me while I sorted this out. When I did get through One Call promised to come back to me within 24 hours and they did not, neither did they cancel the existing policy as requested, Eventually I got through to someone who was able to cancel the existing policy and even refunded the cancellation fee as a good will gesture which was appreciated. I went elsewhere for insuring my new car, which BTW was not a high powered or high price car and I am over 50 so I was surprised my existing insurer did not cover the vehicle, as I was concerned that if I had a claim I might receive similar poor service. However the person I chatted with eventually (BH3) was very helpful and did make the gesture of no cancellation fee, so there was some redemption.
