They are very quick to write off your car so they can then sell it at their own online auction, after getting the fees from your insurance company it's all about the profit. I'm not sure who owns them but it's probably one of the big insurance companies. If I'm ever unfortunate enough to be in a car crash I will go out of my way to avoid dealing with copart.
