“They are very quick to write off your car so they can then sell it at their own online auction, after getting the fees from your insurance company it's all about the profit. I'm not sure who owns them but it's probably one of the big insurance companies. If I'm ever unfortunate enough to be in a car crash I will go out of my way to avoid dealing with copart.”

They will call you, tell you that you've been paid and insist on collecting the car EVEN though you haven't been paid. This company partners with Markerstudy Group (insurers) who are also just trash as well. STEER CLEAR of both.”

“Would have been 0 stars if I could have selected it, Absolute shower of sh!te, two encounters I've recently had with Copart firstly they sell me a van that was Cat N stolen recovered I collect the vehicle carry out relevant repairs and try to sell it on only to find out that it is still on the register as stolen, I open a complaint and 10 weeks later I'm told they need the van back and I've to stand any losses I.E recovery from Copart to me and costs of relevant repairs. Second instance I purchase another van this time before I pay any money to these crooks I carry out a HPI check to check the CAT status as it was purchased as a CAT U, Guess what.... its a CAT S, so I think to myself I've dodged a bullet here... it gets better Copart have suspended my account due to an unpaid vehicle as 'Im meant to HPI every vehicle prior to bidding even though they've made a mistake. be very careful if your thinking of opening an account with these jokers”
“I had a car crash a couple of months ago and Insurance Company send my car to Copart Sandy to fix it but I have decided not to... so when I got my car back to private garage to fix it however Corpart Sandy have stolen my service book, one of my headlight (cost me £300 to replacement!) and aerial. Do not go there as they are very bad company. They wouldn't give anything back to me!!! Not very impressed with Copart”

When I went to pick the car up it wasn't as described in the photos, as it was damaged. So I rejected the car and complained about it to them but it's been 10 days and no reply. they also charge for uncollected car.”
“100% total scammers , bought a car from these scumbags that they stated were runs and drives , not recorded and stolen recovered ! Upon receiving the vehicle I found a notice in the back telling their employees not to start as it had engine trouble ! No mention of this in the add , spent over 4 thousand on a new block ! £600 on a new clutch and flywheel ! £9450 including fees to purchase , £400 to transport it ! Once it were all fixed I did an hpi check and it’s were written off as a cat N in August 2022 ! Then the same company had it in Copart stating that it were a stolen recovery 14 months later ! Same company having the same car twice and putting it through as a different category each time ??? Copart stated in their Add that they had done an HPI on this car ? They are pure criminals committing fraud on a daily basis pure and simple ! I have sent them an email to complain about this and no response from them and after I have sent this yesterday my account has been wiped from the previous sale of this . Good job I have saved all of the evidence to my laptop to show their crimes . Anyone who buys from this company needs their heads testing as I will never deal with them again .”
“Joke of a company! I was a manager there and treating people like dirt is their go to. If you've been working there less than 2 years they'll get rid of you at the drop of a hat. Spoke to the most helpful,lovely guy called JOSHUA!!! Who helped me no end and got me through a tough day where I was quite upset. He was patient,kind and did what he promised to do,a total asset to the company and I hope he gets paid well because he certainly deserves it. “I honestly got to say that i find Copart a complete rip off, You purchase a membership, then you get buyers fee's on top, then you get charged for using there platform to buy a car... Ummm is that not the case of being a member that you can use it. but get charges for using it. no point selling memberships, but too many idiots using it so they make thousands extra from it. loading fee's, more extra fee's and until a example of buying a damaged car with false info for £1000, your total bill is just over £1500. “bought a car advertised as diesel when it arrived it was petrol phoned them up they said let me look into it then called me back and said i had made a mistake they had only changed the ad to say petrol but i had a picture of the original ad saying diesel they said if i kept phoning up over it they would stop my account”

It's still sat in Sandy's yard now as in their terms and conditions it states once it leaves copart it's sold "as is" and they are refusing to give me my money back!!
I went to collect the van and heard the engine was blown went straight in to the office and was told I had to email complaints department, 1 week later I got a reply saying they would not give me my money back and if I wanted to sell it through them instead it could now say it has mechanical issues!!!!! It's the same van you sold me and has not moved.
