“Copart has scammed me out of £4500 sold me a van with a blown engine sold as runs and drives condition!!
It's still sat in Sandy's yard now as in their terms and conditions it states once it leaves copart it's sold "as is" and they are refusing to give me my money back!!
I went to collect the van and heard the engine was blown went straight in to the office and was told I had to email complaints department, 1 week later I got a reply saying they would not give me my money back and if I wanted to sell it through them instead it could now say it has mechanical issues!!!!! It's the same van you sold me and has not moved.
Absolutely unfair and false advertising!!
I have raised this with trading standards so please avoid and don't trust them!!!”

“Had a Smart car valuation done and was offered £215 based on it's condition. I was upfront about the condition said it's a non-runner and that it has a leaky roof and some dents and based on this they offered the £215 on email and over the phone and I received written confirmation on this. They organised a tow truck to come and take it today on the 16th April where the driver drove over 60 miles and so did I to be onsite to then receive a call from their call centre to say we can only offer you £75 now. I was fuming after driving for 2 hours to be onsite and wasted £60 in fuel to get there. Then after I said no they increased the offer to £100 i still said no out of principle that they should have honoured the £215 which they put in writing. When I spoke to their call centre they said they had the condition down as poor and as i described it so everything was noted.
I will never use this company again it sounds like they take broken used cars such as mine and sell them on immediately to other buyers such as yourselves as i've just seen the reviews below. I was under the impression my car was being scrapped and that's what I signed up for but obviously isn't the case.

“This company is a con and a complete fraud! I purchased Evoque at copart Chester. As you can clearly see was advertised as cat (n) with primary damage side damage, nothing more nothing less. Vehicle was flud damage engine was seized absolutely con. Well as long as they have ther own rules you need to only pay or you will need pay fees. Be very very careful.”
“Absolutely disgusted with the service I received from Copart. Been a member for many years and bought many cars during this time which I have always paid for and collected. I recently happened to buy a cheap car £575 (for my standards). As usual, paid straight away and started arranging recovery. Before collection I came to know that the last MOT had a higher mileage recorded than the one that was advertised. I have raised a complaint with Copart and they have zero interest in correcting things even though I should have been protected under the members protection pledge. Storage charges are being applied and I have now had to get help from my bank to reimburse my money. Will never buy from Copart again, not that it matters to them as they have plenty if other members to scam!”
“They valued my mini with a brand new engine 50% lower that it should be. The accident did not effect front of car. Second hand parts are far in excess of price they offered, they even have a similar car for sale on their site and they refuse to offer me more. Not sure what my insurance is paying for as currently seems its to make other people a profit, and myself a loss. Actually disgusted about how transparent your corruption is and you are still allowed to trade.”

Bought a car over before Christmas 2023, with paid delivery, Took weeks to receive it last week 17/1/23 after chasing them lots of times, Then for it to turn up with more front damage than I bought it with, it was damage at rear, When it turned up it has obisously been forked lifed at front to Load up, they have ruined car, called & sent email to complaints . But Nothing back , will be cancelling my membership & never buying form them anymore, just not worth it, All the money ive spent over the years ,”

“This company are an absolute joke. Not only was collection cancelled by them twice, a third time they tried to cancel it but then told me they managed to get someone to collect 11th Jan 2024. Today my car wasnt collected. 8am til 5pm... 5pm car still there. No phone call, email nothing to say why. The driver collecting the vehicle has just called back at 8.30pm to say all the excuses of traffic/delays (the company clearly dont know how to pick up a phone and courtesy call) and that he will give me another call in about an hour to an hour and half to let me know an ETA to collect tonight. No chance!!!!! I wouldnt trust to even get my money at this point. Do not use this company”
“Criminal company. Won a car at auction only to be told I haven’t won it but I do have to pay £250 and that they’re suspending my £100 account until it’s paid costing me £350 for nothing. Don’t buy from Copart”
