Double wrapping in plastic, argh! When is Costco upper management/purchasing going to wake up and understand that we and the world have a huge problem with plastic. We just purchased our first package of Kirkland toilet paper. Inside the outer plastic package there were six packs of toilet paper again wrapped in plastic. Why? We usually buy Scott 1000 eighteen roll packages of toilet paper. Scott does not use double wrapping of rolls inside the larger package. Kirkland does even worse with paper towels by individually wrapping each roll in plastic, inside the larger package. Many if not most of the other brands of toilet paper do not do this. This is not a new problem. It is time for more people to speak up about this.
