I gave 1 star because 0 is not an option. Horrible experience. I made an appt online to have a sofa hauled away. Received a confirmation msg shortly thereafter. Moments later I for a call that went like this: We cannot make the scheduled appointment but we can come 4 days later. No problem, please refund my fee and I will find someone else. Sorry because the appointment was canceled you have to pay a 30% fee. Wait, you canceled the appointment, not me. Sorry, that's our policy. Luckily I paid through PayPal and I knew they would handle it. Later they called back and said they could come later on the day I needed them. That works, thank you. Day of the removal an older woman and her son arrived with a pick up truck and a trailer. Apparantly owning a truck is the only job requirement. They could not get the couch down the stairs. My husband, who was recovering from cancer surgery, and I helped the son carry the couch down the stairs and onto their trailer. Mind you, we paid extra because we have stairs. The service was horrible from beginning to end. But I am pretty sure the company doesn't care.
